My daughter damaged the drivers side front fender on our 2011 MDX while pulling out of the garage. I was thinking of buying a replacement fender (oem or ?) and doing that part myself and then have a body shop do the paint. (Abra quoted ~$1200 to repair and paint fender)

Just wondering if the fender removal and replacement is straight forward or if there were tips needed. Thanks!

Any thought on OEM body panels? about $400 from Acura and $200 aftermarket

buy the aftermarket; send it to paint shop. then install it.

probably be the same cost or LESS if you go through insurance and have a $500 deductible.
