Seems like there are no changes to the 2011 Acura MDX model vs 2010 Acura MDX model...

Thought that there might be some changes. Do Acura offer any additional discounts to get rid of the 2010 inventory?

I read the article and I too can find no changes for the 2011. The 2010 prices will be reflected by inventory. If the 11 is on the floor then the 10 will be cheaper but if they keep selling the 10's then there will be no incentive to reduce the price. Acura keep an eye on current inventory and if there are lots of 10's around for the 2011 launch then factory to dealer incentives may happen.
Check the thread for the front end bumper and fog light changes. This may or maynot happen due to a re-certification of bumper standards and other countries pedestrian standards.
If you want it now and the choices are good then go for it. Remember, if you think that a car is an investment then you should probably play the lottery!

 

the 2010 will drop in price no matter what when the 2011 comes out as they will be considered 1 MY old so will depreciate. so probably the best time to buy is now or early september time

 

The only thing different about the '11 MDX is the price. My '10 MDX Tech that had a MSRP of $46,765 is now $47,115 US for the '11, a difference of $350.

 

I have found some changes on the Acura site. Acura has changed/really limited the options for the interior. Parchment is only available with Bronze now with Tech, and Ebony and Taupe are also limited on some other colors. Umber is still available with the Advanced. Of course, all all subject to change.

 

Now is as good a time as any to purchase the 2010 MDX, Acura is offering 1.9% for 60 months which I took advantage of, I also got he truck for invoice. Even if the facotry offers incentives it won't include financing, it's one or the other.
