2004 mdx Nav System problem

I have an issue when I'm trying to enter the code for the navigation system, it only allows me to enter 1 digit instead of the 4 digit code. Is there anything I can do to maybe reset it so it will allow me to enter the 4 digit code?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes?

I had to send my NAVI DVD Unit to Apline for repair (MDX 2003). You can try removing it and cleaning it with dust off and try it again, more than likely it is system board.

I pulled the brain from under my front seat and sent it back to Alpine. Problem fixed with a total cost of less than $190! DONT LET THE DEALERSHIP RIP YOU OFF! Before I sent it in I went to the better of Saint Louis's two Acura dealerships to see if they had a better/cheaper solution...they were going to charge me 500 to do the same fing thing...UNREAL! here's all the info you need to get you Navi back up and running at a good/fair cost:

Torrance, CA 90501

sorry for a little off topic, but any of ou guys have an issue with the touch screen? My nav screen on my 06 seem to be over sensitive and you have to tap slightly below the letters or tabs for it to work.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
