Question 2002 MDX transmission filter

Hi. I search the net and the forum here but I could not find the info I need.

I have a 2002 MDX. I am in the planning stages of replacing the 3rd and 4th clutch pressure switches. Starting to buy the parts.

Does the 2002 MDX have a screw-on transmission p/n 25450-P7W-003 / 25450P7W003 / 91301-P7W-003? If it does where is it ? Anyone know of a video of pics or instructions on how to remove it?

This is a decent one.
Amazon Amazon

Remove air filter box and air intake tube.
Look above trans and find AT cylinder filter.
Unscrew bolt for tube on end of filter (bolt facing L driver side tire). Once that is removed get a wrench on the filter side and break loose.
Unscrew rest by hand. Install new filter. Check AT level.

Thanks for the info. It appears it is not as easy as that or I am doing something wrong. When I saw where it was I left it alone. But now I am working on trying to get to the transmission solenoid and have a picture of it. Is it as easy as removing the tube like you said from what you can see in the picture?

Also, side note. Is the tranny solenoid housing what is shown just to the left of the filter where the brown plug is?

Is there an o-ring on the tube side? If there is, do you know the part number?

The filter is out and the new one on order.

If it wasn't for the the transmission solenoid removal that I am doing I would not have done the filter on its own. The ATF oil looked good. I did a flush back in April and replaced the 3rd/4th pressure in September. I also replaced the PCV valve even though it looked like it was ok.

As a side note, I found and removed the upper/lower transmission solenoid housings. All but one mesh screen filter was slightly dirty. I am not hopeful that all this will fix the RPM jumping/fluctuating issue. If it does not I will pour some Lucas Transmission Slip additive.

RPM jumping has nothing to do with the transmission but rather with the Idle Air Control valve or a vacuum leak.

It is not jumping at idle. It jumps at cruise when it is on 5th gear. I have no codes or CEL. It jumps about 250-500 rpm's between 60-70 mph.
