Hello all. I'm new to the site. Just got a 2001 MDX because I needed something more street-friendly than my Jeep Wranglers with 35" tires.

My MDX cruise control doesn't work. I am pretty sure it's not the clock spring, because the horn and radio controls on the steering wheel work fine. The "cruise" light on the dash comes on when I hit "set" but the vehicle doesn't maintain speed. What do I check next?

My brake lights work properly, so I don't think it's the brake light switch.

Some TL forums seemed to indicate that a plastic piece in the throttle body could break. Do MDXs do this too?
