Bluetooth Module 2007 MDX

I am new to the forum. I have a 2007 MDX and I replaced the bluetooth module when the HFL stopped working. It is a new unit from the dealer. It still displays "no information available" when i push the steering wheel button. I went into the diagnostics menu and everything shows green incl HFL

Do I need to do something else to get the new unit to work?

Welcome to the forum.

The forum where you originally posted, The AcuraZine User Help, Support & Suggestions Area , is meant for problems, comments, and suggestions for the website itself, so I moved your thread to the car specific forum applicable to your vehicle.

This may be a silly or obvious question, but did you pair a phone with the new HFL?

I may have forgotten how to do that but I thought it involved hitting the phone button

I believe replacing the HFL will require you to pair your phone again. In other words it's like starting from scratch. Try hitting the phone button and say "phone status.". My guess is the return is going to be "There are no phones found" or paired - something like that. I'm guessing if you pair your phone again, you will be good to go.

It's been awhile since I have not had a phone paired. Can you push the phone button and say "Hands free link help?"

I would go back and make sure all your connections are good and solid to the new HFL. I would also make sure you didn't accidentally blow a fuse while replacing the unit.
