Hi, Ken here. I have an 07 MDX with 125K miles. We are getting codes for emissions which my wrench man thinks is the catastrophic converter going bad. My question to you is now, seemingly unrelated to the above, we get a SH/AWD light. The rear end disengages at 30 mph. Any likely suspicions out there or personal experience?

 

how old is your battery? low/weak/old batteries trip a bunch of random lights seemingly. If super old, try replacing it first

 

A weak battery or faulty ground cable can cause a lot of headaches, including transmission behaving badly.
