My dealer recommended new struts in the front due to the age of the vehicle & a right rear shock as well. Please give me your opinion on allowing someone other than the dealer to replace these things. I always go to the dealer who gives me a piece of mind and Grade A service but I'm trying to cut back on my spending so....
I figure that shocks should be simple enough for someone else to do correctly without stripping or ruining anything else. What do you all think about the front struts,the dealer only??? By the way... My dealer is "Goodson Acura" in Irving TX. they are A+

 

If you can find a better price from a reputable shop I don't see why you couldn't take it to them. All of the work on my MDX gets done by a local shop. The dealerships around me ask way too much $$
