Question 02 MDX Check engine light P0300, 301, 303, 305..Random Miss fire

I am new to this site and looking for some help, I have been getting this check engine light with VTM-4 for about last month, the VTM-4 light goes away when i shut down the car but will randomly come back form time to time. there have been some occasion when check engine light disappeared but came back the very next day... I have replace coil pack to see if the problem is with the coils but the light came back, the car runs smoothly and no problem. I have been told by one mechanic that it might need EGR valve cleaning, but I am not sure.
Just a little history about 4 months ago I had timing belt, spark plugs, air filter, front engine & side mount replaced

Can someone help me, I have been going crazy.

Its to general of a question to diagnose site unseen. Are there any other codes stored? Manual states it could be numerous problems. Oil pressure switch, faulty fuel injector, fouled spark plugs, fuel pressure. If you can get someone to use a program such as auto enginuity or the acura HDS program it can narrow it down to which cylinder. If the dtc codes were cleared with a generic code reader the manual states relearn procedures for the PCM idle learn and the CKP pattern learn should be done and in that order. If your just working on the car blind try cleaning the spark plugs and re-check the gap. I know you stated they were 4 months old but could have been banged while being installed closing the gap of the plug. Take notice on the condition of each plug when removing them, it could give you a sign of which cylinder maybe misfiring. If its a faulty injector you could try having the fuel injectors pressure cleaned(not just a bottle of cleaner added to the tank). If you need the dtc code troubleshooter procedures let me know but you'll need more than a generic code reader. Good luck.

if you have anywhere near 100k miles or more you are going to need a valve adjust. as a tech its somewhat rare that the plugs or coils would go out on the mdx. but about 95% of the ones with these specifc codes need a valve adjust

One or two of your coil packs are bad, common problem with these engines!

What kind of plugs did you have installed? It's more than likely 1 faulty coil pack. You can diagnose the faulty one or you can play musical chairs with it until you find the bad one. You can save yourself a little money by cleaning out the EGR valve, adjusting the PCV valve & running some seafoam / b12 to clean out the injectors. If all those don't pan out then buy a new coil pack.

Unhappy 06 MDX Check Engine Light P0175, P300, P301 etc.. Random Miss Fire

I am new to this site. Any help will be appreciated. I have been getting the check engine light with VTM-4 for about last month too, the VTM-4 light goes away when i shut down the car but both lights comes back from time to time. The idle is rough at beginning, but the fuel mileage seems okay. I replaced spark plugs 2-3 month ago. First I thought it will be a Oxygen sensor bank2 due to P0175 DTC code, but now i am thinking it might need a valve adjustment or is it a ignition coil on the bank 2 side? Help!

I second the valve adjustment recommendation.
