I think Yumcha suffers from the aids. He always sick.

And no, I won't allow using his toddler as an excuse for getting sick

Never do that guys, never. Not a satisfactory job even though I did pretty good. Way too curved for that shit. Told him to rip it off and VHT it.
Using vht on tails is the equivalent of painting pieces of interior plastic a different color for that racing look. Cheese!

What's your solution?
VHT + gloss/buff = factory look.

how about No tint and leave it factory, polo

because if not performing surgery, anything that over lays on top is RICE.

Not my car, my brother's. Up to him what he does with it.

As for the rice comment, I didn't think I'd like it on my car when my brother bought me tint for the tails, but the look grew on me. Then cop pulled me over so I had to remove it.

I come from an era when the first mod 16-18 year old boys would do on their shitty cavalier/civic/Sunfire/whatever else, was spray VHT on their tails. Followed by ricing out the interior for dat hella fast look. It might be good, but I just don't like it. And you can't take it off.

Personally, I think doing the film is the best way to do it because you can always revert back to stock without issue. I can't picture the tails you're talking about, but if they are that curvy, it's not a bad idea to take it to a shop and have them do it. Some of the shit they apply film to is crazy, like curvy mirrors.

I know, I know... Personal opinion

I understand, and that's why he went with the tint but I've read about shops doing it and still fucking it up, hence why a lot of people opt for covers or VHT.
We did a pretty decent job, it's bubble and line free in the main part of the taillights but it's the side that are impossible. No amount of stretching will make them perfect.

Hard to see the curve/depth of it on a picture. I didn't think they would be so hard to do until I realized how pear shaped they are.

Yes agree. I was like... brother, you just bought a pimped Impala, and not the good ones.
He's been swapping cars lately though, Volvo S60, sold 1K more than bought with no work on it, then bought a GMC Sonoma, traded for the Monte Carlo SS.

Neither. It's a 2002 model, V6 3.8L. SC was only 04-05. He literally bought a pimped Impala.

There's a guy in his 20ies with a Buick Riviera S/C, he doesn't do anything with the shitbox though.
