FS: **TURBO KIT!!...SpeedR73's**

Ok, I'm selling the kit. Everything that came off my car, and some things that didn't. I will do my best to list every single thing you will get.

Just in case those of you looking don't know what car this is coming off of...

TURBO KIT BUILD

The collector pipe bolts to your stock manifolds. If you do not have those anymore, let me know, and I will help you find them. Someone on here will have them. I built it this way because cast iron is the strongest way to go and they really aren't any more constricting than aftermarket.

1. XS Power T70 A/R .84 Hot/.70 Cold.. No oil leaks
2. Manifold, Up pipe, Downpipe
3. XS Power Intercooler, spearco copy
4. Custom 2.5" Aluminum Intercooler Piping
5. HKS SSQV Blowoff valve
6. XS Power Wastegate. 38mm with 5.8psi spring
7. Oil lines
8. Blue Emanage with both ignition and injector harnesses
9. Innovate LM-1 wideband, and LMA-3 AUXBOX
10. BNIB- Profec B Spec II
11. RC 440cc injectors for the NON Type P 99 Manifold (2000 and up Type P and S)
12. BNIB- Aeromotive 1:1 FPR
13. Comptech rising rate FPR
14. Walbro 255Lph Fuel Pump
15. BNIB- Autometer Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge
16. Mechanical Boost/Vacuum Gauge
17. Additional injector bung with RC 750cc injector brand new...I just decided not to install, but I'm still including it.

ASKING $2000 for the kit. FREE SHIPPING!!

All offers must be submitted through PM. I will NOT negotiate in the thread, but I will answer all questions in the thread for everyone to read.

T3 flange on it now...either have a t4 flange welded on, or have a gt35r with a t3 hot side

Power? Hmm...never got around to dynoing it...I'm betting it was 275-300whp at 6psi. I didn't install the 440cc's, but those will support about 10psi according to Thinjim. My tranny just wouldn't. You will have over 400whp with A/T at 10psi most likely. Again based on Thinjim and speculation. He was ~464 @ 10psi with 6speed.

I'm comparing the way I had it to blk2001tlon19s' setup that put down 319whp @ 6 psi...he had a gt35r and shorter "to turbo" piping and 3" DP.

This was asked in a PM...

Hey man whats up, I was just wondering on just how reliable your kit is.. it seems good to me but in your opinion... Also I have a 6 speed and wanted to know if it would fit that by any chance?

The only fitment issues you might have are with the downpipe flange. If you are dropped, the downpipe flange will scrape quite a bit over bumps and dips and shit. I scraped mostly at dips, ingresses, and egresses when I wasn't paying attention and I am stock height. You can have a shop figure out the downpipe. If you are 6 speed, there is more room that can be used to redesign. There are no dents though, only the flange hits.

Reliability? I had the kit on since May, with no issues. AFR was perfect the whole time. When you up the boost, you will obviously need to retune it. I DO suggest a new oil return line, as the Wastegate points right on it. And with that, you need to have a wastegate pipe made to redirect the exhaust outside the engine bay as best you can.

I am adding in this post...This kit uses your stock manifolds. My collector pipe will bolt to the manifolds of a 99-03TL/TLS/CL/CLS and 98-02 Accord/Coupe.

This kit IS inexpensive enough, though, that you could just take it to a professional fabricator and let him tool around with it, or just completely redo the downpipe...and still have a great kit for next to nothing.

Wastgate when it was new...

Kit the day I got it...the turbo in the kit is the one on the left...the one you see on the right was that original .50/.70 A/R that I had and was too small.

Really all the other pics are in my build thread HERE

If there is something specific you are looking for, just ask and ye shall receive.

In Response To A Pm...

Hi,
Sorry to bother you. I am really interested in your kit but I was also wondering if your kit is a direct bolt-on. If not, what would I have to modify for this to fit? I saw your buildup thread and wanted to know if I would have to relocate the battery as well. What other parts would I need for this kit to fit into my car and run flawlessly? I have a 2000 TL-P.

Thanks in advance.
I took it directly off my 99TL-P...You will have to relocate the battery to the trunk. Summit or ebay is a good place to find relocation kits.

The 440cc injectors in this kit WILL NOT fit in the 99TL-P intake manifold. As I understand it, 99 was the only year that the IM was different. (Someone correct me if I am wrong.)

The only flaw in the kit is the downpipe. It was built for ease of install, but it goes under the crossmember. The flange hits if you go over speed bumps or dips in the road too fast, and that is on stock suspension. I would suggest letting a performance shop take a look at it and either cut out the flange and weld the pipe together, or redesign the downpipe. You are definitely going to want stiffer suspension with more power, so elimenating the flange will be necessary. Everything else will bolt up perfectly. You will need to tune it with the 440cc injectors because the map currently on the emanage is for stock injectors and Comptech FPR. Unless you are good at tuning, I would suggest selling all the Innovate stuff and using that money to pay for it to be professionally tuned.

AGAIN...The collector pipe in this kit bolts up to the stock manifolds, and will not work with aftermarket headers!!

Last Update! If no one responds, I will assume either no one wants my kit, or those that do don't have the cash up front. I really don't feel comfortable doing a payment plan. Cash Talks.

Back to the update...I can get blk2001tlon19s' pipes. I will buy them from him, and include in the kit if someone buys... He wants new pipes for his new setup, so I'm willing to do this. If no one responds, then I will most likely buy his pipes anyways, and build a bad ass kit for my car and scrap saving up for a z06 at this time.

I will take 200 off since you won't need my pipes any longer. I really wasn't charging that much for them in my kit anyways since I kept saying you would need to modify them.

PM me to talk about price changes...I don't want to publicize prices since they are his pipes.

Pic of his pipes...3" downpipe...no scraping even if you are lowered. Best pipes IMO.

PICS ARE HERE

With the little 5.8psi I was running I couldn't tell a difference in the performance of the tranny. That doesn't really say much, though, since our tranny sucks under normal power.

Thanks! It is definitely the least expensive turbo kit you will ever find since it comes with everything you need.

I still have DJ's pipes if anyone is interested...I'm entertaining offers, so hit me up. These will fit up to a 2003.

I haven't been active on the board for a few months...I've been real busy at work, but the pipes have been sitting in my spare bedroom, and I'm ready to clear it out. These are the best designed pipes you can get. Totally worth the money. I want a newer platform to build a car from, so my 99TL is simply a daily pt.A-pt.B car.

ALL YOU WILL NEED IS A PIPE TO GO FROM THE DOWNPIPE TO THE CAT. DJ has it, but forgot to send it to me. If you want to bug him for it, be my guest. It would probably be just as simple to make it though. ALMOST ANY MUFFLER SHOP CAN DO THIS FOR YOU, OR IF YOU CAN WELD, JUST GET THE V-BAND FITTING (3") AND HAVE AT IT. But like I said in the previous post, this consist of the two manifolds, ypipe to the turbo, downpipe, and wg dumptube.

$1,000 or best offer including shipping, and I will take offers based on that.

Thanks

Bump for a good guy.

I actually still have that pipe he is referring too on my TL(I did forget about it). I might be able to take it off my car before I get rid of it.

Thanks for the interest guys. It is still available. Look at post #16 and it should cover your question.

I did not do any internal work.

Also look at post #12. The two pipes to the left are the manifold, then you have the y-pipe that connects those to the turbo, and the small pipe is the WG dumptube. The pipe behind that is the downpipe. You would need a second piece as I already explained to connect that to the cat. converter.

All the turbo kits for this car have two piece downpipes. Its just easier to install with all the bends.

Do you have the same set up as dj's tl or did you just buy his. Or are you selling that manifold? I'm interested in the sale. I'm also curious of what kind of piping the manifold is made of.

This is the kit straight off of DJ's car. As far as I know, this is all stainless steel. But I suppose it could be mild steel as well. Just based on what he paid to have this done, I would be surprised if it isn't stainless.

I took the above picture myself, in my house. So that is exactly what I have, and if you're interested just PM an offer and we'll go from there.
