Essentially the symptoms are vibration under acceleration from the rear.

Good to know - I experience very slight vibration between 3k-5k during mid-heavy acceleration .. might be something to look into.

I've always experienced it but I always chalk it up to the s2000 having a harsh ride. I was driving on a newly paved stretch of road recently and noticed the distinct vibration when I accelerated. Definitely give it a look.

I had it. You'll know if you have it, too.
Followed that DIY to fix it.

intended to...ended up getting a referral to a guy I loved that charged me $400 to do it...jumped on it.
he also had a great relationship with the vendors so the GAHH people gave him the top at the Robbins pricing and he didn't upcharge me for it.

Ummmm, yeah. Pretty much everyone who knows these cars knows NOT to separate the roll hoops. While I am sure it is possible to get them back together, I bet its a bitch. Sorry, J.

Well yeah... Loose them. Otherwise it's boxer-briefs.

They're best when they're so loosed.

Briefs or normals?

I can't do the briefs, makes me feel claustrophobic. I can't do jewelry in general, even my wedding ring is a stretch for me.
