CLS6 - Every bolt-on under the sun

So I've finished all the N/A mods on my car, and though a dyno would be in order. With a NEO tune I pulled 252hp and 223ft-lbs. They didn't adjust the VTEC engagement, since they felt that the car produced a very smooth curve.

http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=ddzzrccs_31q7vc6vpx

I gotta say that I am a little disappointed. I feel like I have seen people dyno right around where I did without a few of the parts I got.

Thoughts / Comments?

-4" P2R Intake w/Spacer
-Intake Manifold thermal gasket
-P2R plenums
-bored TB
-XS Headers
-Full CT catback
-RT High flow cat
-UR Crank Pulley

Also, I regapped the valves and changed plugs two weeks ago.

My ECU did not have more then 20 miles of driving logged after the latest reset.

One point I forgot to mention, the tuner shop did not feel that the NEO would be over-ridden by the ECU since it operates in an open-loop mode at full throttle.

Nice man, how did you like RT Tuning? I will go there soon for dyno tuning. Also, what they said about the ECU seems to be the case with the s2k ECUs also. So I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case with our cars also.

looking at ur n/a mods (sorry i was blind, didn't see it) there isn't much to do to our cars... =[

grounding kit? even though it doesn't do much...

the numbers just seem a tad low imo.

you have to remember that not every dyno is the same.. and iirc mustang dyno's run less than dynapaks

what you should have done was a baseline and then another after all your mods were installed.. that's all a dyno is good for, really.

I made that. With no 4' intake, no RT cat & no neo.
What are the SAE numbers? You always should post those #'s. They are more accurate.

Well thats why I said I was disappointed...

Anyway, I don't know what the SAE numbers are. All the local info is on the dyno sheet, I haven't bothered to calc it out.

I actually dynoed worse with the Random Tech cat as I did before and after, I gained 5hp and 10lbs of torque with the stock cat.
I think the backpressure had something to do with the high flow cat.
I also dynoed better with the Icebox versus the AEM I originally had, only by a few horsepower though.

^i retuned and dynod on a dynojet and made 291whp. i do agree that autos cant make hp for shit because the auto cl tranny sucks ass and theres a huge loss of power from the drivetrain which is exactlyyy why im doing a 6 speed swap

Thats interesting, I saw your track time thread and with those mods and I would think your car would be capable of doing high 13s.

Currently I'm running with CT (headers, b-pipe, mufflers) as my only mods and I've been able to pull 14.1s in quarter mile with shitty launches. I have a 2.5" test-pipe installed as well.

Theres gotta be something restricting your car from getting maximum performance.

RT cat is actually whats restrictive it has a 2.0" inlet/outlet. Plus you can do some porting and polishing of the IM like me, doing the top helped, didn't notice much with the bottom though. Also lighter wheels/tires, aluminum flywheel with a decent clutch kit (Clutchmasters).

Also seafoam your car

Sounds like a lot of good info on the mods and such, great reading for a new user! Just starting to mod my CLS and I was hoping to find a P2R 4" intake, but I cant find one anywhere, any thoughts? where did you get yours?
