Good news for first gens

okay i was able to establish our car with Megan Racing thanks to James who deals with the designing and also a big thanks to Adam from importuners.com. okay what i did was go to Wilmington to gut out a front strut assembly from the 3.2L TL and broughtit to Megan racing which is about 10 miles from me ya IM in the Cali.area. well i informed them that the 94 to 97 Honda accord rear coilovers worked for our car as well as the the rear control arm that is an adjustable camber will work for the TL and is a direct bolt on. i broughtthe fronts in so they could make a full set for all TL's. they will be shipping it over seas to.begin the manufacturing. he said they will be out around middle December, but IM going to.put.in a word for the rear sway bar ass well. you will be able to.get the from importuners.com and Megan racing.......the EZ STREET COILOVERS and should be around $700 to $800......also lowering springs but I'd recommend that you get the coilovers because by lowering it you will stress the struts and blow them out. enjoy

THAT'S GREAT NEWS!!! I just p/u a 98'AcuraTL3.2 and have been struggling to find a good suspension upgrade! I'd like to keep the awesome ride quality but improve the handling some. I'm thinking of lowering car 1.5" front & 1.0" rear. Will that need a camber adjustment? and do the coilovers come with new struts? is that why you prefer over just lowering springs? What do you think about the Ground Control coilover conversion kit for $399? I understand you still need shox with those? I know, lots of Q's but I'm hyped up about hooking up this sweet ride!

the coilovers IM talking about are already all put together and they are going to be adjustable ones as in height. if you look them. up you'll get a visual and a better explanation on them, but they are quality not generic brands. i wouldn't put ground coilovers on at all and IM surprised you payed that much. also if you lower it more than 2 inches your gonna have to roll the fenders but when you have coilovers it really eliminates a lot of those extra things. if you get the adjustable control arm in the rear you wont have a. problem but don't get generic brands get real brands....Megan has them.....type in 94 to 97 Honda accord suspension and you will see. and stick with 18 x8
