Here is the impact on the crash bar on the right side of the rear bumper. It seems the driver was backing out to the right side when hitting an hard immobile surface like a parking garage wall in line with the bumper at low speed.

So appreciative to be blessed enough to drive one of these! Truong said that the navi doesn’t work right m, and I noticed the error when I was at his home. Fingers crossed, the navi error has not popped up since!

I just realized that Acura didn’t paint the trunk area of the 2007-2008 Base models. But fully painted the Type-S models.

My 2008 base M90 was 241 units before the last 3G came off the assembly line. So it’s made in April 2008. The 2007 Type-S was early 207, so my navi unit was made in October 2006.

Wondering where to put the 3G 64gb Tesla screen. M90 will be non-navi someday, so perhaps there. It would look great in the Turbo type-S though. My kid works at cartoys while he’s going to Uni full time, perhaps I’ll have him take car of the install.

It felt a bit sketch doing this, but it had to be done. This car is in rough shape to say the least. I rotated the tires after this install and noticed there is a 25-30% difference between the front and rear tires.

To allow the OEM coils to fit back into the fork I had to over shoot the forks 50mm space by 3.5mm. This way when I removed my splitter contraption it would recoil back to about 50mm. A labor of love this car is.

I created this splitter because there wasn’t anything in my toolbox for splitting the receiving fork on the on the lower part of the rear coils. I put it in the fork and used a 12mm wrench to split.

These Konis have at least 100,000 miles on them. They all squeak and seem bottomed out yet bounce on corners. The numbskulls that installed them on the TL Sport didn’t put spacers on this portion of the rear coil, so the fork was squished together from 50mm to 47.3mm. That was because the fork was pulled together by 5mm to hold the trashy Koni struts.
These Konis have at least 100,000 miles on them. They all squeak and seem bottomed out yet bounce on corners. Took my time to install it in the Turbo TL-S. It’s black/black so I figured a perfect fit. Haven’t sat in this car since I took it apart the autumn of 2019. Forget I have this treasure sometimes. Will be so rewarding when it’s running again! :smile:
