P2R CNC machined heads. They have everything done to them on the market besides cams. Those I kept stock because I’m still running Hondata. I have another J32A2 set of heads that were Ported and Polished by arguably the best Hand PnP’r in the United States. If you have seen better on this scale and difficulty of working are, please share. They also have everything done to them and will be Benchflowed next week to see which set of heads flows more CFMs. A real Man Vs. Machine challange.

Oh Snap fellas! The P2R CNC runners are on their way so the Holley PFI Intake is sitting pretty low, but you get the picture. I will be reversing this intake for better flow and cooling. I will polish the exterior of the Holley shell and Port and Polish the interior for better airflow before the final install.

This is what happens when you panic because the Acura manual tells you that you have four minutes to put the tranny case back on after applying grey gasket maker or you must redo it. You actually have a good 10-13 minutes. So don’t panic like I did. I used a rubber mallet to slide the countershaft bearing intro the tranny case. In a panic I grabbed my rubber mallet and began wracking the pot of the tranny case. Not noticing that I was walking it with the metal side of my mallet.

Does anyone see the coolant restrictions that the headgaskets make with the CSS retainer installed? It will piddle the coolant on the top and bottom passages.

To fix this I used a dremel and cut the steel I coated middle layer of the 3 layer MLS head gasket. Because those water passages are not in the critical raised portion of the head gasket and the modified portion was the middle layer, this was safe to do. I did not lose control of the dremel oven once, I’m proud of that as the head gasket would be toast if I did. I only have to deburr the new holes with a jewelers file for my own sanity, and wipe each layer with my new “cleaning rags”.

Here is an example pic. The end in question is indeed the one going into the 6MT. I check the diagram and the “C” clamp is a telltale sign of orientation. Good idea on the transmission spline count! I’ll check it as soon as I get home from work. J, any experience you have on the J, please share. This is all uncharted territory for me.

I sound a 12mm bolt and cut it to the head. This will be welded onto the portion that we will cut on the intermediate shaft portion.
