ZDX Type-S "Service Leveling System" message

This message is not uncommon, many Type-S owners have seen this. The service manual suggests this message does not mean the ALS is malfunctioned. Here is the quote:

"A ‘Service Leveling System/Speed Limited’ DIC message does not necessarily indicate a problem with the air suspension system. It is possible the system has detected a state that has resulted a vehicle condition that has not been corrected within expected time limit. The conditions could be due to excessive front to rear rake, or side to side difference due to unexpected loading conditions, modified bent or broken suspension components.
If the vehicle does not see the correct conditions to complete a leveling event in the allowable time frame, the driver information center may display a message “Vehicle Too High Drive With Caution” message. If this occurs it may be due to excessive short stop and go driving events preventing the system from allowing a height adjustment. If this is seen the truck will need to remain stopped for approximately 30 seconds and the system will attempt a correction."
