I can see that the exterior styling might not be everyone’s liking; however, have you ever drove one more than around the block?..Spend a week or a long weekend driving around in ZDX, and then you can make statements with some firsthand knowledge.

I think the CDX is the logical successor.
But I do love a good/bad/terrible/really bad ramblings thread.

Well geez folks....Can't we all just get along? I am a two-time ZDX owner, so glad this thread exists. Miss the 2010, as it was in such great condition, and because the middle child is in college and without her car, I've been driving the CRV and have not driven the 2013 for more than two weeks now. I love the 2013 much more now, given that I've sold the 2010. Quite a bit of "cosmetic" work to do on the 2013 and that's ok with me. I enjoy cleaning, rubbing, polishing, etc. I wanted the final model year. Hard to verify the actual number of 2013's built. I see 442 2013's in total US sales across 2013, 2014, and 2015, but would love to know the total number of 2013 ZDX's actually built.

The ZDX is part SUV, Crossover, truck, sedan, coupe, sports car, so I refer to it as a true jack of all trades, and master of none.
Once the weather turns for the better here in Nebraska, I'll post pictures of the 2013 GLM in the ZDX picture forum.
The gentleman that purchased the 2010 from me is thrilled with it, and he's an Infinity zealot (M37x, FX35, QX80)

I’ve always had love for the ZDX and I would absolutely drive one. I especially love what they did for the MMC in 2013 and I always see it as one of the best cars made by Acura quality wise. Had Acura come out with the toned down styling for the 2010 model year we would have seen much better sales and I would LOVE to see a ZDX with the new design language, especially the jewel eyes would look sick on it.

For the first time in ages I saw a ZDX for sale in my area few days ago. I remember when they first came out and I had a TSX. They gave me one as a loaner. I was pretty impressed with it. I thought it handled well, didn't look too bad (opposite of most opinions I'd heard about it) and actually considered purchasing sometime down the road. I still don't think they're that bad at all. Looking at the one on CL the other day, it kind of reminded me of a luxury Honda HR-V, even though the ZDX came and went long before the HR-V debuted. I guess I'm in the minority of people who actually have an affinity for the things.

You’d be surprised, a large number of us here on the forum love the ZDX (myself included). They rarely ever come up for sale here and when they do it’s usually (IMHO) for a lot more than they are worth. An MDX with the same year and mileage is usually 5k-10k cheaper. So I haven’t bought one yet for that reason. Sorry my friend, MMC stands for “Mid Model Cycle” or “Mid Model Change”. It refers to the (normally) 3rd or 4th year of production where the manufacturer will refresh the car. Usually things like new bumpers or grilles or headlights and tail lights, and always wheel designs are changed during the MMC. Sorry if I’m over explaining and unintentionally insulting your intelligence.

I'll be honest, I knew what MMC meant by context clues, but it took me a long time to learn what MMC stood for.

Now that I "see it", I think "why did that not register with me?". Agree the MMC's for 2013 I like and another reason for really wanting the 2013 Book End. And, I have to posses some degree of intelligence for you to insult it, unintentionally or otherwise, so all good here. Thanks for educating me.
I think the challenge with finding used ZDX's is the condition and number of owners. Some have been abused, and with such a small number built, the number of good condition examples is small. I've also found that finding single owner ZDX's is a challenge as well. There are ZDX's for sale, but I get leery when the number of owners is more than 2 or 3. Some I looked at had 4 or 5 previous owners.

I think there are two categories of ZDX out there. One are the passionate owners like many of us here, who bought the car new and intend to keep it for a good long time. We maintain them well, keep them in excellent condition, and have no intention of selling anytime soon. The other category are the beaters that were either initially used as dealership service loaners or bought by people who didn't like them and unloaded them fairly quickly. These haven't been as well-maintained and may have now changed ownership several times.
The unicorn, of course, is the well taken care-of single owner ZDX that is for sale. Good luck finding one!

Knowing the OP not having one and how the thread started, this was intended to be satire, btw.

I have...
I was just mentioning how it's treated (don't worry, the crosstour got the same shit on the Honda side)...
I personally thought it was futuristic and avante garde in it's design...
ONLY gripe I had was the super short head room for getting in and out (forget the back even...the fronts!)...I am only 6'1" and I had a hard time with ducking low enough to not hit my head.
And the gas mileage is pretty bad...but not terrible for an SUV.

Mine started right up tonight. It's been three weeks since I've driven it. Just can't do it in this weather.....the salt and the grime and the cold. I would if I had to, but I love my little 2006 CRV with only 49K on the odometer...spring is coming and I can't wait. 42,420 on the odometer as of tonight. Build date 02/2013. I'm delaying gratification here and it feels so good to wait...
