ZDX Loaner

Hi all,

So my TL is at the dealer for servicing & I initially got the base TL as a loaner. The dealer called me later that afternoon to state they will probably have my car for a week or even more since they have a limited amount of staff due to the holidays. I told them I wanted to bring the TL back & get something else..something atleast with a NAV. I got there the next day & to my surprise, the loaner tag said ZDX-Tech. I've never driven an SUV before, the feel felt a little weird. As I drove the vehicle around, I became more & more comfortable, especially parallel parking the thing. It runs extremely smooth, but has a trunkish "whroom" sound when accelerating. The interior is simply superb...love the panoramic sunroof! The car sticks out like a sore thumb though. It received great compliments & even long obversed looks from motorist. One guy who was driving a Lexus LS said "Now thats sexy ride bro". LOL. My only gripe about this vehicle is the stupid rear entry. Otherwise, it's a great car..I mean coupe inspired SUV.

I'm totally digging this car after using it for the past two weeks. Plus the dealer called me tody to say they'll have my car for another week or more since they're under-staffed. To bad I can't afford this car. I'd probably look into getting a pre-owned next winter if my mind doesnt change.

I had a ZDX loaner last week as well. I was very impressed with the ride. It felt very smooth and didn't feel like I was driving a CUV at all. The six speed transmission felt nice. Lots of good looks and comments wherever I went. Those who talk trash about it have probably never driven one.

It is not a vehicle for everyone. If I didn't need the utility and cargo space of my MDX, I would seriously consider this car.

I just gave the loaner back this past Saturday. As I got in my 04 TL, it immediately felt ancient. Everything about the ZDX is amazing.

I wouldn't say the TL is ancient but I Definetely feel the difference when moving from my 07 type s to the ZDX.
I also noticed that the TL has a lot more headroom for the driver and I discovered that I prefer the cockpit feeling of the ZDX interior more.
