I like that it basically acts as a hot key in and out of the normal UI and features....$550 isn't cheap but, dang it's a nice feature. Android auto a car without Seems deal breaker for many car buyers last few years. I've seen it in action, person I work with told me easily worth the $500 for convenience, seeing texts, talking back, calls, nav, internet etc.... easy to install, website and company seems very reputable....but I'm fearful of bricking something.....I guess if I did, I'd play dumb cough extended warranty another 4 years.

I’m considering just permanently mounting a mini-iPad on the dash in order to play internet radio thru Bluetooth (hinged mount to access nav controls?). I already dumped the overpriced sat. radio service and currently enjoy the more specific music on my iPhone, but the title/artist text is thus too small, and constantly moving the phone IS a pain. Likely would cost less than $550 (?).
