We got a ZDX Type S with the golden color. MSRP was about $76k with some silly paint protection thingy. I should have had them remove that. We got the crossbars for $0.01. We also got $6k off from Costco so we pay taxes on about $70k. Then they had another $7.5k off for tax rebate (which we could only get by leasing but we can pay off after 1 month) and some other $12k off. Now we pay $572/month for 36 months and we put $5k down on our CC so we get points/cashback. It's all they allowed us to charge on the CC. The buyout option after 3 years is $36k plus I assume taxes on that amount. So the cost seems to be around $572*36 + $5k down payment + $36k buyout + $7k in taxes = 68.5k. I must be calculating something wrong that after $25k off we still pay close to $70k.
Edit: Ok, I just called the financing department. Buyout is a bit less than $51k + $5k down payment = $56k. That's more in line with what I thought we are paying. $76k - $25k in discounts plus taxes, destination charge, etc.
MSRP $65.5k A-Spec RWD 7500 miles/year $331/month (CA tax and fees included. 27 month lease) 2K down payment (Silver on Red. Other colors are around extra $10/month)
AWD was $55 more/month, Type-S around $120 more.
Made friends with a sales manager in Southern California. Found best deal around. Message me and I can refer you!
Holy crap that is a good deal. If math is correct, works out to roughly $44,000 for the car at end of lease. Jealous! And I thought I got a good deal. But I'm going to really regret having already paid off my lease just to save the interest.
How much will you have to pay at the end of the 27 months if you want to keep the car? So final price will be $2k + $331*27 + buyout price. And how much would the buyout price be for a golden Type S? Despite having gotten $25k off, I feel like I could have done better.
We still love the car, though. And just yesterday some random person came and talked to me for like 5 minutes about the car and we get compliments about the color. I am still not too crazy about the silver part.
Ok, about the same deal as $2k + $331*27 + $35k = $46k. We pay $56k out-the-door but ours is a golden Type S plus performance tires which I think are $1k more and cross bars which is around $300.
I bought in late July. Paid $52k total for an A-Spec RWD, about $15k off sticker. And I thought that was great. Looks like the price has really dropped lately. I might regret having paid off the lease early to save on the interest. I don't have a guaranteed value in 2.5 years now. I do love the car, hope that doesn't change.

The current lease is insane. At this rate, we are one stop away from Honda giving away Prologue for free, and Acura selling ZDX for Civic price.
As a result, I am determined to erase my ZDX number from my memory. Thankfully, the car has surprisingly been holding up well.
I can't tell if Honda is giving deals on the Prologue or not. First Texas Honda is not making that easy to determine. Best I can find is a lease deal for an EX AWD ($52k sticker) that works out to $47k at the end of the lease with buyout. Could be about $40k if you pay off early but hard to tell (I think they are raking in a lot in interest on that lease). So maybe, maybe $12k off sticker for a Prologue, possibly. I like the extra power of even my RWD model over the Prologue AWD, and the better ride, but that looks like a good deal. Just not as good a deal as we got.
Well, it appears I could have done better but we got a reasonable deal. In any case, as much as people complain, we like the car a lot. It doesn't have the 1,000+ HP of a Rivian, Hummer EV, etc but it's a very nice car. And finally my wife is not holding her phone anymore but does all the navigation, texting, etc handsfree. She initially didn't like the HUD but now she likes it. And we like the physical buttons. No need to look down or at the screen like with the buttonless Teslas.
$56K for a Type S. Is this right? For the dealer offer? Is anybody getting better deals than this? My math on the best deal going in Arizona for Type S : $55, 377.
That's about $4K higher than I paid for my 2016 RLX SH Advance (Purchased on Dec 31st, 2016, $68,000 MSRP, has been a fantastic car!)
$10,000 Mark Up for MDX-S w Wheels Versus RWD A-Spec

I usually get the Curry Acura AcuraCare Plan, have purchased two so far. Not sure how I would handle on a lease ... would certainly wait at least a year before buying out the car, to see how it's going. 8Yrs/100k miles Plan D80 $1,778
EDIT: Did not see the lease you posted was for AZ.
Usually you can do better than the advertised lease, say no down payment for the advertised monthly on ZDX.
Thanks for sharing the extended warranty price. Definitely need that for anyone who considers owning the car long term. I am still on the fence. Part availability is a big concern at this stage, followed by questionable SW support from GM. Otherwise, the car mostly performs beyond my expectations.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the ZDX. I'm planning to test drive today. Is the cockpit driving space big enough? I'm 6-1 about 200# and enjoy the space in my RLX.
Re: AcuraCare: I've bought 2 AcuraCare warranties online from Curry, for my 2016 RLX-SH; and DW's 2023 MDX-S. Curry offers plans at MSRP with transparent pricing. Genuine Acuracare, so roadside assistance is included (...for all the Acura's in the family). Super easy to deal with. I used the RLX warranty that cost me about $1600 for a $1400 repair (noisy, scratching steering wheel column motor operation). That's the only problem I experienced with my RLX in 8+ years and 70K miles. It's actually the only problem I've ever had with any of our 4 Acuras in over two decades of driving them. Have not needed warranty repair service on our MDX in the 2 years and 15K miles, we've owned it, but that air suspension system made me decide to buy the 8/100 warranty.
Overall our 4 Acuras have been incredibly reliable.

You bet! I feel ZDX is roomier than MDX everywhere below the chest. Deeper and wider, more sedan-like.
I have only driven RLX once, and don't remember how roomy it is. But I vaguely recall RLX is easygoing and comfortable. My guess is that you will find more similarities between RLX and ZDX, than the other Acuras.
Scott in AZ: I am a similar height and weight, and find the ZDX to be quite roomy, more so than our 2013 MDX. Although I am nearly always the driver, I might also point out that the ZDX has MUCH more room in the rear seats, probably because there is no 3rd row (which we have never used since we bought the MDX). And the ZDX Type S seats are among the most comfortable I have ever experienced.

We traded a 2010 MDX-Tech on DW’s 2023 MDX-S. When I was cleaning it out I lifted up the big one-piece rubber cargo mat and realized/remembered that it had a third row! I don’t think I ever used the third row either.
Acura has Type-S seat comfort and audio figured out. Seats and sound in our MDX-S are as good as I can imagine.
Encouraging perspective on the ZDX cockpit. I am really satisfied with my 2016 RLX-SH, 75,000 miles. For a daily driver, it’s a powerful cruiser not a rocket, but very rewarding to drive and own. Infotainment, seats and audio are sub-par for a flagship but mechanical performance is superb. Really wish there was a RLX Sport Hybrid wagon (… like Audi’s). But if I can get the lease deal or equivalent pricing on a purchase I’ll probably trade RDX on a ZDX. This pic below a few months ago.

I don’t have my paperwork in front of me, but in California in September we were able to lease our Type S for $21,000 off MSRP, including federal, state, and dealer incentives. They suggested 10,000 miles/year, but we insisted on 12, based on my normal driving. Which means I’m paying more per month, but I’d rather spread out any mileage payments rather than pay a big lump sum, assuming we turn the car in after 3 years (very definitely leaving that question open for now). And so far I’m a bit over on range, but that does include a 1,500 mile road trip. Since my overage is only 0.20/mile, I’m not sweating it (I’ve read that some leases are up to 0.50/mile, which seems excessive to me).
You are, of course, aware that the $7,500 federal rebate could vanish soon.

We occasionally used the 3rd row of our Honda Pilot when other people wanted to catch a ride with us. But unless you could do the 2/3 split you are left with almost no luggage space. We do have a Yakima box which helped. I actually need to try that on our ZDX and adjust it. The ZDX seems longer than what our Pilot was. The hood of the Pilot seems shorter than the ZDX but you still have a lot of space in the front, in the back row and still a lot of space for luggage and the dog.
I got a fairly good lease (at least I think it's pretty good) on my ZDX A-spec AWD. I'm paying $231/month for 24 months with $995 down. The advertised deal was $199/month but that was for 7500 miles so I bumped it up to 10,000 miles per year for $32 more per month. The option at the end of the lease is like $35,700 to purchase at lease end. Overall happy with the car so far, but not sure if I'll buy at least end because there could be a few better options in a few years.
Hi all,
I’m in southern CA. I just leased an AWD and did single pay $8,330. 24/7500. Residual is $35,900. First time doing single pay. The math penciled.
Congrats! You got a great deal! There aren't a lot of options. Paint ($600), wheels ($1k), and some other minor stuff. We paid about $10k more than you did. However, it is a Type S golden with performance tires, crossbars, floor mats (didn't ask for it, they were just in there), some "paint protection" (probably a scam), 10k miles/year, etc. Sticker was about $76k. I thought we got a good deal with $25k off...

we both got good deals. The issue for me is that the S didn’t lease well.
So you got $32.650 off on a MSRP $69,850 ZDX A Spec? That's like a 46% discount. I should stop reading this forum as I thought I got a reasonable deal with $25k off on a golden type S. It still feels nice to drive, though.
The lease deals lately are insane. There's regional incentives on top of the national incentives Acura is offering. In some states, it's a $26k discount on an ASpec AWD before negotiations. The Type S is about $22k in incentives (again, region specific). Add in that it's month end and they're all 2024 models, dealers are starting to get very aggressive with moving these.

A few years back during and right after covid, you had to pay above MSRP. Now I feel I did bad with $25k off INCLUDING(!) $7.5k federal rebate for a Type S. Oh well. As I said, we still like the car.

$25k off still isn't bad. I leased mine and got around $27k off for my Type S. I like it too
It is hard to do apple to apple. Type S AWD with full set of type-S rubber mats and key replacement insurance for 5 years.
Returned my mdx with 140k and 40k km over and 2 years early return. And put down my security deposit as an down payment around 10k.
I got 5 yr lease with around 150k km allowance, 561 bi weekly tax included with 20k buy back cost at 2.99%
In canadian dollars. Purchase time 2024 nov, pick up 2024 nov 19. I have already close to 30k km on it
Seems like you paid MSRP (88k CAD, your total payments + buyout is 93k). I have no idea if that's a decent deal or not for Canada, as I don't know if there are any incentives there. But converting 93k CAD to USD is about $67k, which is ok-ish for a deal closed in November of 2024. These days, total cost around $50k USD (total payments + buyout) is attainable on a Type S. But as you said, it's hard to compare.
