TPMS issue

Hopefully someone out there can help me....
Last year, I needed new tires. With that said I decided to buy new third-party rims, tires and ordered/installed new "Acura" TPMS sensors in them -- wheels/tires, TPMS sensors all worked perfectly for the season. I ordered winter tires and had those mounted on my original OEM 19" wheels (with the original sensors that came with those OEM wheels) and saved those for mounting in the winter.
So the other day, I brought my car in to swap out the "summer tires/rims" with my "winter tires/OEM rims (with original TPMS sensors)". Everything was working fine until the next morning when I started my car, I noticed that the TPMS system was displaying two dashes for each tire, instead of displaying the psi. I brought the car back and the mechanics re-"registered" the sensors, and drove the car for a few miles to ensure that everything worked. Again, I drove the car home and the next morning the same thing: TPMS system displaying two dashes for each tire. No warning lights or messages.
Has anyone out there experienced this?
