Thinking about purchasing a ZDX

I currently have a 2010 TL 6 speed(IG:chrispy225). I like to MOD my cars. I'm just curious if anyone's ever bagged or lowered a ZDX? I been researching and I can't find much of anything for the ZDX. MDX and RDX has a some aftermarket parts. Is the ZDX a shared platform? Just curious to know to gather me up some parts for nodding when I purchase one.

As far as I know the coilovers from a mdx will for the zdx. There's a member here in the photo gallery that has a lowered zdx on 22s with mdx coilovers. Ive also been in the market for a zdx but would like to know what the real differences are from the advanced and the version, and at the same time what have members done that seems like would get them better gas mileage.

Chris, as someone who has owned a TSX, TL, 3 MDX's, and a ZDX, if you're used to the performance of your TL 6-speed, I think you'll be disappointed in the ZDX. As you probably know, the ZDX is basically a fastback MDX. There are some performance mods, but honestly it's not going to be close to your TL 6-speed in acceleration/feel and handling.

That being said, what may have been frustrating for you in having a TL 6-speed is that it blended in with the crowd (not sure of your mods, but at least here in SoCal, modded TLs are all over). The 6-speed perhaps made it a sleeper, but it may have "looked" like many other cars out there.

The ZDX, however, stands out. I get compliments all the time. The cool thing about the ZDX is that it was before its time and now, that time has come. Fastback / coupe SUVs are en vogue (and expensive).

So if you want performance, look elsewhere...if you want style and uniqueness, then it may be the car for you.

I've been looki g for one for a while now too. Found 13 model at an acura dealer in Jacksonville. Trying to work out a deal and have it shipped here to socal, even out here you never see these cars. Last time I remember seeing one was about a year and a half ago when I was obsessing over the zdx but couldn't afford one.

Not sure where in SoCal, but I'm in Anaheim Hills, so you may see my Grigio ZDX cruising around. Funny thing is that I also rarely see ZDX's and actually saw a super clean black one the other day. I drove up next to it, honked, and my wife, kids and I gave the lady a thumbs up. She looked over like "WTF?" haha...

Lol!!! That is funny, yeah the last time I saw one was towards Irvine and after that never again, tbh I've never seen a 13 model ever. Hopefully I am expecting to take delivery on one within the coming weeks. Here's a Pic of the one I saw. I hope to see yours in the near future off the 91.
