I saw this on a Lyric forum today. Insult to injury at this point. This is a screen shot of the connected networks of the myCadillac app for a Lyric. As we all know, ours has only EVgo. Look at the selection the Lyric gets! Only thing I do not know yet is the differences between a Supported Network and a Linked Account.
More on this from the Lyric forum. Plug-and-charge is not supported at EA or Tesla. What the above means is that you now have more ways to start a charge at those networks. For example, you can now start the charge session using GM's app or the infotainment system in the car. It seems a minor improvement that is probably still useful, particularly doing it from the dashboard in the car. Pull up, touch, touch, plug in, voila. I can see that being less clumsy than finding the right app on your phone, firing it up, etc.
