Red face Suspension

I noticed the base tech model with single suspension set up rode smoother than
my current Advance model IDS. Plus i had to get new shocks all around two months ago at 56k miles on my 2010
$4,000 thank God Acura expired warranty good will covered it and I only had it a week after discovering it.
Bought it out of town sight unseen. Well now one bulb is out on running board and that bulb is not replaceable
but I will find someone to rig something up.

ADS to non-tech

Hi Kevin,

Just did the conversion to non-tech. ABSOLUTELY! HUGE difference! The ride now of an MDX, but with all the features of Advanced package. Except cannot switch now to "sport" mode. Which is fine with us - our roads here are not the best sample of American infrastructure...

We bought our ZDX from a dealer that is not affiliated with Acura, so on the phone Acura told us "it's your loss." We plan to keep our ZDX for awhile, so this conversion made sense to us to save $1000's...

Until front struts go out...

Decent, I guess... That's what we were quoted for the rears. But... with front struts going out (per dealer - they are only "good" for 50k) - you are facing a tag of a minimum of 2200-2500 with parts and labor.

Made sense for us to convert to "regular," as with my 1.5 hours to replace the rears (with hack) it was 250 total... The front took 2.5 hours and 630 bucks in parts (and expectancy to last over 100-150k miles - per dealer)...
