My in-car navigation system now routes me to SuperChargers, which is great news. Dealer still has no ETA on selling the official adapter (I will keep using my Typhoon Pro). But... in the Tesla app you still need to call yourself a Lyric to find chargers and initiate and pay for chargers. But, getting closer to all dominos falling.

No, the ZDX has been in the Tesla app for at least a week. I set mine up last Tuesday.
The ZDX has been in the Tesla app for at least several months now. But... if you want to find and pay for a charge you will need to still call yourself a Lyric. I just did it yesterday. I called myself a ZDX with an adapter and the local spots that a Lyric can charge at do not show up of me. When I switch back to calling myself a Lyric those spots come back as available.
Try it. Can you locate a SuperCharger and actually initiate a charge as a ZDX? Because I cannot.
Chargers come up in app when set to ZDX, though only certain chargers. You are correct that the Lyriq has more available though. The blue charge here buttons are available for the ZDX as well.
I'm not sure why it's not all chargers but if I had to guess it's likely a firmware update (on the Tesla side).

My guess is that it was either a charger issue, or has something to do with the adapter. Supercharger is more reliable than others, but occasionally still breaks down.
Four more days left in the month. Got this from Acura this morning:
"ZDX owners are to gain access to Tesla Supercharger Network with approved adapters in June 2025. The approved Acura NACS-CCS adapters will better ensure a safe and reliable experience at Tesla Superchargers."
I bought the car in July of 2024 and was told we'd have SuperCharger access by end of December. GM got access in September. The year passes. About 2-3 months back we were told "end of June now". We have under 1.5 days left in the month. What do people think?
1. They squeak it in tomorrow
2. They slip 2 weeks, don't fret
3. We're screwed
I've also noticed that Concierge Chat in the EV App does not work anymore. And an email to Acura has gone unanswered (before, they have always answered).
The Lectron and A2Z adapters have been proven to work. Lectron makes most of the OE adapters anyway.
Alternatively, you can buy the adapter from Chevy. I don't have the part number handy but you can search for for Blazer EV NACS adapter and you should find it.
The problem with all this, civicdrivr, is that Tesla can remove the Lyric loophole when they want to. Yes I have an A2Z Typhoon Pro adapter. Yes I set myself to a Lyric in the Tesla app. Yes it has worked for me (until it did not, 2 weeks ago). But go ask Kia owners what happened when Tesla closed the Hyundai loophole on them.
Combine this with the fact Acura has missed 2 milestones they set for this to happen, and GM has had access for 9 months.
I've never wanted to join a class action lawsuit before, but I'm very close to that point now.
I asked Perplexity.ai about this, and I'm posting the summary here. Honestly, it echoes a feeling I've had about this, that Telsa firing the entire SuperCharger team was a dumb move that had wide-ranging implications, and is likely at least part of the reason for this mess we find ourselves in.
While Acura and Honda’s official position is that Supercharger access for ZDX and Prologue owners would begin in June 2025, there has been a noticeable lack of follow-up announcements or customer notifications confirming widespread availability. The most likely reasons for the delay are software integration challenges and disruptions within Tesla’s Supercharger team, but no new official delivery date has been publicly stated

If my memory serves me correctly - the reason Tesla was able to do that to Hyundai/Kia owners is that their cars use plug and charge and communicated via that protocol. Our cars do not, which is why we have to charge via the app.
It is possible that the newer gen Superchargers are pulling VIN data, but the older Supercharger locations don't have that capability. This would explain why you had issues recently, but that's just a hypothesis.
Could be about plug and charge. Which is another pain-point in the EV world - the fact this standard exists but not everyone uses it. Including Utlium vehicles. I really find this annoying.
And you might be correct about VIN pulling as well. I need to try the local SuperCharger again, the one that worked before. It is V3. I think the one I had recent trouble with is V4 (the cords were long, but did not have magic docks).
Its just so frustrating that, as old and mature as the EV market is, charging is still so fracked up.
I'm more concerned with the availability of an official adapter meaning official SuperCharger support. Meaning not having to call myself a Lyric. More, meaning that Acura is finally delivering on their promise, twice broken now. Yeah, I'm a bit pissed. I have a Typhoon Pro already, and have used it. And I'll admit that this whole "manufacturer blessed adapter" thing certainly feels like nonsense. It's not like my A2Z unit is a cheap Amazon knock off that really might harm equipment.
@civicdrivr, I think the delay is on Tesla, and not Acura, myself. My service advisor (also a ZDX owner) believes the same as well. Supporting evidence for this is the fact that it's not just Acura who has had their access delayed. There are several makes and models that should have had access by now but have not, and for no apparent reason.
It's not just us.
Having said that, I have zero faith in that "June 22" rumor I heard earlier.
I'll be going on a 188mi trip (each way) this week as well. That's well within the cars mileage rating (also, the estimated distance continues to go up, now at 320 miles on a full charge), but you never know. The return trip will definitely see me putting my Lectron adapter to use, I hope

188 miles is well within the ability of a full charge. You'll have to make a charge at destination, or on the way back. If you want to use your Lectron, just make sure the only SuperChargers on the way back are not V2 units. We can only use V3 or V4. I'd also make sure you have an EA or EVgo or something as a back-stop. I have once failed to charge at a V4 SuperCharger. Not sure why.
We did a 240 mile drive (starting with 100% charge) and had to charge once from I think 30% to 80%. I am not sure how much we had left. It was about a 4,500 ft elevation increase with a few ups and downs. At the destination we could charge the car with 240V/48A which took quite a few hours. But we got it to 100% and for ~240 miles back driving home we didn't have to charge and still had 20% left.
I still feel like it's some work with all this charging stuff. You have to find a fast charger that does at least 200kW, find a place where not all spots are taken, find an ev Go charger so we can use our credit, etc. And then the wait for the charging. For our everyday use it's great. We just plug it in every few days but long distance is a LOT less convenient than a gas/hybrid car.

Thankfully the charger I intend to use near the destination is V3, and there's a handful of V3 chargers along the route as well that I intend to try.
