rain sensor wipers

Getting raintracker installed as we speak. So excited. Finally I will have a feature my car should have had to begin with. Now only if I could figure a way to get power folding mirrors.

My previous SUV {Jeep G Cherokee Overland} had auto wippers w sensor on the dash. It was G-R-E-A-T !
I dont think sensor outside on blades will work well.
So let users of such a system chime in with results ..

raintracker installed. Seems to work great with spray bottle and water hose. Ill update when it rains. Only this with zdx install is that he wasnt able to get the manual high to work when sensor was switched on. when sensor is switched off manual wipers work as normal.

He charged me $200 cause thats what he said but he said he would charge $300 if he had to do it again. He said ZDX was a complicated install with all of the other electrical in the car.

sensor actually sticks to windshield from the inside. behind rearview mirror. Like BMWs'.
