New black zdx advance
Yes folks A few of us are buying these!
Picked mine up Friday and have put 400 miles on it.
First-this was an impulse buy - went to the dealer to finalize purchase of MDX and they had about 4 Zs on the lot. Test drove the advance and was sold. The back end is worth the price of admission.
I was never intending to get an Acura. I've had two fxs and was set to get the third. Everyone u talk to says the fx is more athletic. But I cannot agree- the Awd system in the Acura is better than my two fxs. Second the tranny in the M and Z dx is so much better than the 7 spd in the fx.
The car I really wanted was the BMW x6 5.0. Did not want a used so new with the options I wanted was around 80 grand. But I am delighted with the ZDX.
My current rides are a Porsche Cayman, s2000, and Mazda RX-8 R
3 track version.
First - the engine is silky smooth and ,when pushed sounds great.
Second- I am surprised at the feedback through the steering wheel- it is very good. Very happy that although not BMWish it is very satisfying. Not numb like lots of Hondas.
Third- the handling is just incredible. This 4500 lbs. truck feels great in corners. Took it out on some feisty country roads and had a blast.
Fourth- safety- the car (along with the MDX) received 4 and 5 star crash ratings in NHTSA's latest new and tougher tests. Both the cars are tanks.
Fifth-looks- just looks bad ass.
I laughed at the ZDX when it first came out. I thought what kind of a**holes buy that? But if you want performance, a CUV and fun this fits it for me at least.

Congrats! I have to agree with you on your consensus on this vehicle. I too have a black ZDX but it is a Tech. No Advance models in Canada. It is not as nice as mugen_kids but it looks a little different than the few I have seen up here.
