Meet Black Mamba

Hi guys

Finally, I have some pics of my 2010 base CBP. I wish I had a tech but this was the only used CBP within 100 miles from where I live in NH. Picked it up in January 2012 with 13k miles as a CPO. I don't drive it much as I work from home. This is my first Honda/Acura product and my first pre-owned vehicle in 10 yrs. I have only owned brand new Nissans since I graduated undergrad in 2002. Altima (2), 350Z, FX35, and Xterra - which we still have.
No mods yet as winter in NH is cold. Planning to debadge, black out the grill, front bumper inserts and the rear reflecters. I will also add a 3m clear wrap and replace foglights with HIDs. After market 20s are on the horizon as well. The tag says GLDN-I (my favorite 007 movie) right now but BKMAMBA is coming in April if it doesn't get snagged.

I am glad to share my ZDX ownership experience with you all as I look forward to education and learning.

sorry my computer not showing your pics but welcome. Please share your thoughts about honda/acura products vs nissan/infiniti. I'm always curious.

I saw that you tried to link your pictures in your album into the post. That doesn't work, use an image hosting site to share them. I use Flickr, it's pretty easy.

When you get the links, I'll post them in your original post.

Welcome to the club saba, Black always looks good, especially on the ZDseX... You will now see why honda/Acura is a better product than nissan/infiniti, enjoy your black mamba!

I uploaded them to my photobucket. Looks like this works. Should have used the "preview post" feature in the first place

First real outside detail

There she is after a nice tubby and wax. BTW, if you own a black car, I recommend a kit by Turtle Wax, it's a black box made especially for black cars. 22 bucks at Walmart but it has per-wax, wax and detailing spray which you can use on the grill and helps get off wax that tays for too long. Beauty of it is that the compound is black so no more white wax residue.

Quick update, finally followed through on the new tag. I got lazy last year and renewed online. This year, I actually went to town hall. Excuse the dirtiness. She is due. Hopefully this weekend

Thanks bud. Here is a pick of the minor mod (excluding the HID conversion on the fogs which I had to swap back...long story )

Debadge
Plasti-dip deflectors
Rustoleum matte on the exhaust inserts

Hoping to 3M the grill black. Don't want to paint it because in NH, salt and sand will kill it after one winter. Would also like to do a Sanrdo-ish LED conversion, redo the fogs to HID (had some crappy product where the box was marked 4500 but they were waayyy to blue), and wheels/tires at some point. We shall see.
