LED's?

Anybody put in, or thought about putting in LED replacement bulbs for runnings lights and/or fog lights? Or even installing a daytime running light LED strip?

Was looking at these: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Da...d_sku45_r2.htm

Auto Design, I was looking at these on your site: http://www.4aeautodesign.com/apps/we...s/show/2809174 but there's a warning about potential errors. Would these cause an error in a ZDX?

So I got the iJDM LED bulbs for DRL and parking/turn signal bulbs, both with resistors
Overall I am pleased with the result. Not really bright but its enough. Looks definitely nicer than the ugly yellow/orange light.
Switchback parking/turn signal bulbs work as I expected. In turn signal mode white light goes off completely while orange is blinking.

No issues so far.

Pics comming

For parking/turn signal lights there is also another type of bulb now, focused with a lense. I heard it is even brighter people say but might look like a single bright point of light, I didn't try but you can

Here go the pics:
DRL

DRL + Parking lights

DRL + Parking lights + blinker

Sorry for the dirt on car :P

Need to mention that parking lights don't exactly match DRL
I'd say that parking lights temperature is around 5000K (close to stock HID) and DRL is about 6000k
But it looks nice none the less

Now thinking about making side markers white (not sure if thats possible even with powerfull LED bulb) or removing the bulb from them

I wish I could experience driving my ZDX in snow. Looks fun. I like the dirty rugged pics. Shows the zdx can be a trooper.

Oh driving SH-AWD is amazing in the snow. I have manhandled many a snow storm here in the North East. Acura really doesn't get the credit they deserve for a truly amazing awd system.

On a side note has anyone found a Yellow bulb for the DRL? I cant seem to find a good pair... thanks

Lightbulb not the right fit...

Thanks sandro, I bought those same nokya's some time ago and they didn't fit. They are the right size bulb but the quality of the make isn't there, and I didn't want to force the bulbs into the space. The OEM sylvainias go right in and out with little fuss... looking for another brand perhaps...?

Actually any HB3 bulb should fit, they are supposed to have same base and no fit problems. Indeed it could be bad of the bulb or its base. Try another one, PIAA maybe

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks a lot for posting the link for the iJDM LED DRLs on Ebay. Based on your post I ordered a pair and installed them last night. I wasn't sure if I would like them but you're right they definitely look better than the stock yellowish white DRL bulbs.

Sandro,
Did you have to use the decoder DRL set (harness) that comes with the LED bulbs? This looks very nice!
