I'm trying to follow the instructions here to use Apple Maps for route planning, complete with charging locations and charge times, and I cannot get it to work:

A friend with a Mach-E says it works for him. Is the ZDX not a "compatible" car? Note, I can use Apple Maps through CarPlay for navigation, but it will not take charging into account. On the Mach-E, Apple Maps knows his range, his current state of charge, compatible charging networks, etc.

 

I don't use iPhone, but have the same issue with Android Auto. I think it is down to GM blocking AA/Car play from getting the car info (battery/consumption/etc.). GM really want you to use the built-in Google Map for whatever reason.
