A/C - Heater Problem ?

Hi
My 2012 ZDX, the driver side dashboard vent is blowing warm air but the passenger side the air is around 8-10 degrees lower. the temperature is set to 70 F, the mode control is on Dashboard and floor, and the sync is on.
Now, if I change the mode control to dashboard vents only, the temperature is warm on both sides. Also, if I increase the temperature to 73-75 F, the temperature goes up on both sides, regardless; the mode control position.
So my question is, is this the way it should be or there is something wrong like the air mix motor, etc?

Well, that certainly doesn't sound like nominal operation. Is the 8-10 degree difference measured with a thermometer or just by "feel"?

It is by using a thermometer.
I stop by the dealer today, they think it is the air mixture motor. I have to take it Friday so they can check it.

Good luck! Hopefully it's not too expensive to fix.

Hi
After a couple of visits to the dealer, it seems that the problem has been solved .
It was the Air Mix/Temperature Control Motor from the driver side. Now, both vents blow air at the same temperature or at least very similar.
Let's hope this is the end of the story.
