Due to phone damage, Apple gave me a replacement phone. But AcuraLink is giving me issues. I installed the app, fire it up, log in, and then it takes me to the Getting Started page, where I have to enter a VIN. When I do so I get this error:

"Vehicle Already Added
This vehicle is already in
your list of vehicles"

This sounds good, but it's not, because there is no way I can get past this and start using the app to access my car. It requires me to enter a VIN and then complains when the VIN is already associated with me. Help!

Well, appears there is also an Acura EV app, and I try that and it seems to remember my car. But it cannot communicate with the vehicle (which, sadly, is a recurring problem). So, my problem may, or may not, be solved.

 

The Acura Link app does not work with the all electric ZDX. You need the Acura EV app. In my case the app can't read the VIN from the bar code and when I manually entered it, it didn't recognize the VIN (I checked it like 10x and I did enter it correctly). You also have to sign up with OnStar which is a whole other story.
