I am new to the TL car. I just imported a White Diamond Pearl 08 TL from the Seattle area. This is a U.S. car my brother owned. So far it is stock but going to a meet would be great in getting first hand ideas.

I have purchased the 2011 Quad exhaust tips from a memeber here on acurazine. I called Jason at groundzero to get a price for cuting the old exhaust tips off the car and weld on the ones I just bought. The price he gave me was $160. IMO it is a little too expensive. So is there any member here that have good connections with Jason so that I can maybe get a discount or any other recommended place to do the job.

i have the reciept for the battery still so it has warranty. i paid 240 bucks brand new for this from lordco. a lil over a year ago

size is 34/78 it is a lil bigger then my stock group size of 25 but it fit perfectly

well, my 4G is still stock, other than a couple of leds for the licence plate light.
Richi from rv6 is still confirming fitment issues on the j pipe for the 2012 model. so still gotta wait for a bit.

yeah, I have the ATLP V2 J.pipe, HFC and ATLP base exhaust

no, since I didn't do any pre-cat deletes. But i'll probably be getting richies HFCD later on.

 

Its just the perfect sound for me at least lol

yeah, cause the base one is more restictive so i got a 200cell hfc from atlp. I think the one on the type s is already 200cell.

 

rv6 v3 long tube j pipe deletes the third cat thats what im thinking of getting for the type s exhaust

do u know whats the best way to get a good sound from stock exhaust

richmond acura wouldnt budge on price there a bunch of jerks and offered me 3 grand for my car because they have to so called remove the black paint off my headlight housing and remove my tint off my tail lights and thats gonna cost them over a 1000 bucks

so i walked out and we went to a broker

 

oh...wtf...i have seen they have few 3g-S for stock now....around $26500 to $28000....richmond acura sucks....

oh yes i test drove it i liked the paddle shifters it shifts faster then my old car. but those paddles are pretty small eh

not a big fan of the paddle shifters, but i guess it was designed to keep your hands on the wheel

right....it is really shift faster than our 2G....and you will love your type s dude....yeah,if compare those bimmer and audi paddle shifters,ours is smaller....and acura's paddle shifter can't up & down shift on one side...down shift has to be left side and up shift has to be the right side...stupid design...not like others paddle shifter can up and down on one side

yeah...not 37 sedan...its 35 sedan
