As a Calgary boy myself, the only place I could recommend would be Tunerworks. They're expensive, but they're the best. Provided of course you haven't already tried them. It's too bad Speedtech closed down all those years ago, they were my favorite.

Yeah that's who I was thinking of. They used to have a store in Calgary but I thought it closed down.

Speedtech closed down because it was a gang front. A good gang front don't get me wrong but a front none the less.

I'm not too sure who's doing tuning in the city anymore. Never looked into it as it would require some serious work to get to that point for most of the cars that frequent this forum.

Reviving an old thread here....anyone in Calgary have experience with this tuner company, RCTS Canada? Seems they are Hondata's official distributor:

Hondata : RCTS R&D Canada Web Store, HKS, Hondata, Motec, Dinan, code by Reg Riemer

I don't have first hand experience and have met Reg couple times when I had my Supra long ago. I found again when looking at Hondata for my 2015 Civic 1.5T. However decided to mess with warranty.

What sort of gains can one get on a TL-S?

Reviews online about RCTS seem good, but wanted to see if anyone has actually gone there for tuning. They offer CAD$500 for a baseline Flashpro tune / reflash according to the company's site. Take the car there and they'll reflash the ECU using a Hondata basemap. Wondering if it's worth doing that as opposed to paying $1000 for Flashpro then an additional $150 or so for custom tuning.

Performance gains wise, around 10HP or so, I think? But it's more the overall driveability that everyone raves about, how it smooths out the V-tec curve, etc: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-p...-880747/page7/.

This is a good thread summarizing the benefits of Flashpro: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-p...ondata-973235/
