Here in Saskatoon our dealer says they wont budge from MSRP. Is this common? We only have one Acura Dealer in town.

IMO, no.

When I bought the TL new back in 2004 the sales guy took off like $1000? Not a lot but better than none lolz

Hope that helped!

If he still doesn't want to budge in price, tell him to throw in something like all-weather mats or w/e. *shrug*

When my pops was buying an MDX early this spring, I asked him to throw in the $800 tow package and he said "thats almost an insult to me, our margins are so low we can afford to do something like that, come on..."

I know clearly his margins could easily afford that, so I was pretty insulted myself. The guy is a real tool though so its to be expected.

LOLZ yea he's just being a tool. Go find another sales. Worst case senerio, ask for all-weather floor mats. If he rejects that then...I have no comment on their customer service. I didn't bother asking for mine because the guy was nice enough to take off $1000

They make quite a bit if they don't discount anything off the MSRP. He's just money hungry to a point it's sad.

They're probably doing it because they know they're the only dealer in the area.

IMO if you know you want to buy the car, make the trip out to another dealer and order from them.
