Since I have ATLP quads coming (yummmy!) I had to buy a Type-S rear lip. They never made the Type-s in anthracite so I have to get this lip painted.

Does anyone have any friends/family in autobody or know of a shop that I can have this thing painted cheap and good quality? Let me know.

Also I'm down for a spring meet anytime. Possibly a drive to Canmore - I know of a great burger/hot dog place owned by a guy from Montreal.

 

Hey guys, so I have an odd request. I need to 'rent' someone's rims for a weekend. OK now before you laugh and read on give me a sec! Because of my install I'll be in driven this year so the weekend of June 9th and 10th. I was hoping to already have a set of new wheels before this but its financially impossible for this to happen. So what I am asking is if someone would lend me there wheels for the show so I don't have to embarrass myself on my stockies with winter tires. Obviously there will be compensation for this as well as dead cost on anything you want at any Visions Electronics for as long as I can still get it myself. (I'm still working there) I know its a really weird and sketchy request but I promise you guys that I'm a stand-up guy and am just looking to put a nicer ride into this show.

Who was the one who lives in strathmore here? Still got the TL?

 

Do you have Brennan's number? With the 2011 Acura TL? or 2010, I forget. If not, I can text him. But I'm sure he'd be willing to lend you his winter tires/rims if they fit. His winter rims are really nice, same with his summers.

 

Different bolt pattern, I used to have his number but I think I lost it when I got a new phone.

 

id lend you mine but there is no chance of fitting them without mods to your car. also, im the strathmore guy lol

Good news everyone! Selling the Jetta, lol. It's been giving me nothing but problems since I purchased it. So I'm going to be selling it, and then buying something nice. Just not sure yet.
Oh and also, if anyone wants an interior and/or exterior detail let me know. I work at the Auto Detailing place in Strathmore now. So i'd do the work personally, and I might be able to get you a deal.

Yeh I don't think my car qualifies to be show worthy yet. I need to throw on some rims rather than stockies and then I'd be good. Maybe next year. Hey does anyone here drive a black TL with smoked tails in the Coventry Hills area? I see ya all the time.

Had it on that afternoon and drove 1300 KM through BC Fri-Sat to Castlegar because my brother bought a 2004 STi absolutely mint. We had a nice trip home. I'm going to post a progress thread of my car soon.

Hi There,

I wanted to share this with everyone here.

I got the samsung galaxy s3 this past friday and it pairs with my iLx no problem, once you turn the car off and back on the Galaxy defaults to Media Audio Profile and I have to manually go to bluetooth settings all the time and check the box that says "Call Audio" and then everything is hunky dory.. i shouldn't have to do this everytime i get in my iLx

Has this happend to anyone else and if so does anyone know a fix ?

Anyone get any damage from the hail? I'm out of town for a few more days but based on pictures I'm seeing I'm not sure how the CL fared.

 

My Samsung Galaxy S3 and my old iPhone pair perfectly with my TL's bluetooth. Never any problems with connectivity.

In the SW where I am we didn't even get any hail, just rain. But I heard the north end of the city got it bad...
