Hey Guys,

New to the website since I stumbled across it while looking for information about what the heck is going on with my car.

As mentioned in the title, I own a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL-S with just under 200,000km. I've been having a occasional issue with starting up the car as once it fires up, the RPM drop well below the 500 range that it idles at before evening off.

Today it took me about ten attempts to even get it started and with all ten attempts the engine would "kind-of" start but was violently shaky and the RPM were wildly spastic. They would flutter around 300-500 and short after drop to 0 and turn off...

Note* My Check Engine light has been engaged since this happened. I have an inclination to believe that the fuel pump relay may have a role to play in all of this but would like some outside input on the situation.

Any ideas or suggestions?
