To Zaino or to Zymöl?
Hello-
I have a question for everyone here. I've recently been using Zymöl Cleaner Wax (rated number 1, supposedly) and I was thinking about buying an entire kit. I know everyone around here (and everyone on an MDX forum) are really into Zaino products.
Tell me, why Zaino? Does anyone have experience w/ a Zymöl kit? I think Zymöl is spendier and I just want to know if it would be worth it.
Then again, I might say forget them both and just do without.
We'll see...

The section on polymers in the FAQ will also tell you why polymers are better.
In the proof wanted thread, there's a post to the famous NSX hood test where a guy did comparisons. Even the expensive $100/jar zymol didn't do as well as Zaino.
My best answer to you is both
Zaino for protection and Zymol for wet oily shine!
Personally i use a polymer then the zymol detail spray ontop. Looks great

Hello-
On Zymöl's website, it says "rated no. 1 by the leading consumer advocacy group" --which really doesn't answer your question.
I know what you mean, though, id888. Everything seems to be rated number one.
Funny how that works...

ya, i think that line means this: i can sell a product and setup a forum somewhere else so no one know the "linkage" to make them look independent, and rate/revier my product #1, hehehee
i can also kick or ban anyone who dis it!! hehehe

I am actually using both the Zymol and the Zaino currently.
I use the Zaino on my Accord and the Zymol on the daily rides.
I like the Zymol because I can apply it with my DA-buffer/polisher kit.
However, buy far the smoothest, silkest, wettest looking wax I have ever used is Zaino. It's a pain because it take roughly 2-days just to apply a base coat of Zaino. And it can only be done by hand. But the results woop-A$$!
The choice is yours 48-hours for woop-A$$
or one afternoon for Zymol.
