I put on 2 coats of zaino on my TL-S about 5 weeks ago. It was so unbelievably smooth and dirt would just come right off. But I notice now that i don't have that silky smooth glaze. That I understand but how long is the wax supposed to last?

 

i don't know how long it will stay on, but my bet is that after you wash your car and you z6 it, it will be smooth again. at least that's how my experience has been. even after 4 or 5 weeks, after washing it, mine has been really smooth. i only have 12 coats on mine and the last was done sometime in nov. if i remember right.

 

I do use z6. It's still not as silky smooth as right after a wax though. Perhaps that's unrealistic to expect hehe. I'm just concerned that I should wax more often.

actually, u touch on an interesting point...as time goes by between coats of Z, i've noticed the smoothness goes down somewhat, despite washing and Z6...initially after Z tho, the surface is soooo silky smooth, it's fun to watch some of the Z6 dance all over the body

 

to answer the last question , , a couple of coats will last months . .
expecialy using zaino car wash and the gloss spray . .
