Zaino - Before and After

Why I like Zaino... Here are some quick pics. Car is two weeks old. Before (1,000 miles, 3 days rain, 1 road trip). After (2 coats Z5 w/ZFX, 1 coat Z6). Large images...

Did you use one of the kits they offer or did you just order the different products seperatly? I wann try Zaino cause everybodys been talking about it but it kinda seems like alot of work. How would you rate the process 1-10 and what kit did you use?

George . .you want application info that clears up the process . .. . I know the site is kinda "unclear" at some points . .. Yes, I sell the stuff - BUT I cant sell it to you - so there is NO gain in it for me no matter what you buy. If you wanted to email me - I can "converse" with you . .. honestly about what to expect . . .

I bought the $80 kit that comes with most of what you need. I also bought the liquid leather and tire gloss. I found the process pretty simple, but it took a lot of time. Supposedly it gets better the more coats you get on.

it gets easier for sure. now doing a single additional layer is . .wash and dry the car. then apply a layer - let it dry and wipe off . .. uswe the detail spray if you have it for that added touch . . . total time - maybe 90 minutes . .

Yep, and the Z6 detail spray seems to add that extra bit of deep shine.

Im guessing the kit comes with instructions and stuff right? Looking foward to start using it and seeing how well it works. Thanks for the info and im sure i'll be back on here with questions when I buy the kit and use it before the Midwest TSX meet!

I've heard that meguiar's NXT wax is even better than Ziano...just a thought.

I used to use Meguiars Gold Class on my old car. It does produce a nice deep shine. Maybe even as nice as Zaino, but...I love Zaino because when I wash the car (read just wash and dry) it is much quicker to return the car to a just Zaino'd/Waxed form. Plus, I've noticed Zaino to last much longer and still look good without reapplying. The more coats of Zaino the easier to clean. Bug guts come off much easier. I never noticed that with any wax.

It sure does and I notice water will bead longer with Zaino applied.

Tough to answer. The more coats of Zaino I apply (I'm at 3 now) the slicker it gets. When I used to wax the finish was still very slick.

I second the awesomeness of Zaino, however, the only issue I notice with it at all, is it has a tendency to fingerprint more so than any other product I've used. It's not bad, but occasionally a little annoying as fingerprints will show up on the matte black trim by the doors.

zaino rocks

I purchased Zaino after reading a few threads. I applied it 3 weeks ago. After basically taking all weekend, i was exhausted, BUt after wiping off the last coat, i couldnt stop smiling. I was simply amazed. Now my carbon grey tsx was pretty shiny already. I was blown away. First time i washed it i was amazed at how much it beaded. I would recommend Zaino to anyone who asked.
