Zaino

Sup,
pros and cons of applying Zaino with an orbital polisher?
or should I just use elbow grease.

You can use an orbital but you might waste too much polish. The pad on a polisher can absorb almost enough polish to coat your entire vehicle.

Zaino applies easily by hand, especially after spraying the cotton applicator pad with Z-6 before applyingi.

I use the tried-and-true hand application, using it as my form of exercise.

HOWEVER, if you really, really want to give applying it a try with a random orbital, here's a link to a Mustang guy. It seems to work for him. Scroll on down the page for his directions.

Ive only ever used a polisher after drying off the gloss spray - Z6 - and in my huimble opinion - it does seem to bump the shine a tad. maybe its just my desire to see it happen - but i feel that the heat generated may actually level the product and reflect better.

those wool bonnets are so soft - and i always wanted a polisher - that even if Sal Zaino told me it does nothing - Id still use it

Try using it by hand first (if you haven't)...

It is already pretty easy to use too much, and it sure beats removing "regular" carnauba from a car.
