that is about the touch up paint. I notice that when you buy the touch paint from the Acura dealer, you only get one bottle instead of two, second one being the clear. Why is this the case with the touch paint? Isn't our acura paint a base with a clear coat? Why we dont get a clear with the touch? isnt the clear there to help improve the shine and actually proctec the color from fading. My VW touch paints match only if I use the clear other than that I am always a shade off on the color.

What is the general opinion regarding this issue

 

Have a body shop mix a little paint for you.......thats what I did. They had leftover from a job and they just gave it to me.

 

ive never seen it come as a two pack..

normally, in the past you get the clear seperate.
