Hmmm...$70 may be worth it to give it a try, but I should really cut down on my spending. I'm sure I'll find a car to use it on. I'm looking for different combos on light colored cars. So far I still love the classic combo of AIO and SG on a beige benz I do every now and again. Thx.

You're just a tard. Its not worth it even more. I like my car to look good, but I'm not going to lick it clean becuase the saliva chemical bonds will encourage better paint strength. You on the other hand would if that was true .

You would rather save 10 minutes and wash your car with dawn and 5 bucks by not buying a paint cleaner potentially oxidizing your paint - and I'm a tard? (BTW that term is offensive - my cousin in mentally handicapped and god bless him even he won't wash my uncle's car with Dawn.)

I wash my car with dawn because one fucking wash isn't going to cause any damage. Unless you and your fellow car care experts (wait, what proof do you have that you're advice is reputable?) get down with a microscope and look for oh noes on the paint.

How much proof do you need?

The makers of Dawn say no - the chemisty says no - never mind I say no - whatever dude - like I said three times before wash your car with whatever you like man - I really don't have anything to prove to you.

Cleaning Chrome/Silver Emblems

How do you clean chrome or silver emblems on cars? Is there a Zaino product for this? Any sort of polish or cleaner?

Thanks,
Carl

I don't really care what the Dawn makers say. They say it because they don't want people using Dawn as a regular car wash because if you make a habit of it you WILL have problems. Zaino says its alright to use it once because it gives you the results you want without harming the paint.

In fact, I'd go as far to say that my car will look as good if not better than anyone who didn't use dawn and used their super special chemicals down the line. To say that one washing with Dawn will cause problems is a huge overstatement and just paranoia. Sal, the man who specializes in car care, wouldn't suggest something if it would cause problems.

Really?

Do you have any idea the last time his site was updated? He also recommends using 100% terry cloth bath towels and makes no mention of Micro Fiber (terry cloth DOES - not might, not maybe will - - - DOES scratch your paint) Micro Fiber does not.

and Dawn DOES harm your paint. Once, one time - read his web page - he recommends it to REMOVE all the oils and grease on your finish -

There is no super secret magic - LIKE I SAID...get a paint cleaner - or hell use 50/50 alcohol and water if your too damn cheap to spend 5 bucks - or don't.

Or be a stubborn dumbass and use Dawn - I could care less. You seem fixated on this one time thing. So your only going to apply Zaino once to your car? Your never going to start over maybe - wash it with Dawn again? Frankly I don't care..

BTW - I've posted pics of my work and the work of others with no Dawn wash using AIO instead - let's see some pics of your ride schmeered with Zaino.
