Winter Sealants? JetSeal 109, Klasse AIO, Menzerna Power Lock
Just trying to get the TL ready for winter and am stuck on these 3 choices of sealant. After reading tons of webpages there seems to be good and bad written about each of them. So I figured the detail pros on here would be able to chime in.
Which do you recommend and why? Or what else would you recommend?

Klasse AIO isn't a good winter sealant its more of an AIO and the life is short.
Tho I have never used the other 2 the Jetseal to me is pricy for a winter sealant ... The Menzerna a little more affordable.
Have you concidered Duragloss #105 .. its one of the better sealants as far as life goes and its around $10.

Jesstzn, thanks for the Duragloss insight. I just read that along with their bonding agent the finish should at least last through the winter.
These "pro" products are all new to me that are mainly available online. Im used to buying stuff like Meguires NXT 2.0 and thinking that stuff was good. Seems like there is a lot more out there that works better.

Even on customers cars I did last winter some were coming back and this year asking for what I used previously cuz it didn't last.
We do get some SO3 floating around and the likes .
Don't get me wrong .. it might do well in other areas but here it sure didn't.

You know its funny .. people say 845 lasts a long time but here in town I didn't get a lot out of it .. might be the industrial climate ... I used it on my Olds last winter and in 2 months it was history. I did do 1/2 the roof with it and the other 1/2 with Duragloss #105 and the #105 outlasted it by a couple months.

I intend on trying it myself because I am curious about if what people are saying is true.

i have been using Rejex for the past two years and love it. Easy application and removal. Easily last through winters here in CT. I also apply to rims. Great stuff.

Needs more Lemon Pledge
AIO, topped with SG (I even use a 1/3 SG 2/3 H20 spray as a QD).
Kicks the llama's ass.
I am sure other products are just as good, but I have it and like it.
SG removal/buffing is a pain in the arse if you put it on too thick. If you can see it going on, it's too thick. Two super thin layers is better than one thick one. Also, I use a PC with a MF bonnet to remove it.
I also top it with 845IW in the summer and Nattys Blue in the winter, but my summer is 115 degrees and my winter is 50 and (maybe) drizzling.
Car is NHB TSX.

If I get a bug or dust and need a QD, I grab whatever I have laying around... Mother's, etc...

I took Jesstzn's advice. I just got my Duragloss bonding agent and #105 in the mail as NO ONE carries it local in my area.
Jesstzn is a detailer and from Canada so I couldnt take better advice than from someone who battles the harsh winters and has used many different products to detail cars. Thanks again Jesstzn for the advice.

I just did a winter detail on my silver Type S and used these products and sequence:
1. Menzerna PO 106FA (polish)
2. Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 (sealant for the polish)
3. Dodo Diamond White Paste-2 coats (wax)
This combination was outstanding. I used to go with Zaino products (I still love their leather products), but I got bored and tried some new stuff....and wow!

^^^ Yea, this is what George at Detailed Image suggested for a silver metallic finish. So far, so good!
