Question Windshield Water Spots & Care?

Although I have been sucessful keeping water spots off the painted areas of the TL, I have noticed increasing water spots on both front and rear widows. Perhaps I am noticing it more as I drive into the sunrise every morning! I usually only use RAINEX on the windows, but otherwise have no experience using specialized glass care products.

Any advice on removing the spots and ongoing care of the glass? I ordered a window restore kit from Janvil that includes a scratch remover, glass restore and a glass cleaner. It seems to be a simple glass polish and claims it will not damage or warp the glass when applied by hand.

Thoughts?

I just use a razor blade to scrape them off.

(the glass, not the paint)

Stoners wont do much for mineral deposits.

Try the vinegar and water. If that doesnt work, you are probably going to have to polish the glass using either glass polish, or many just using polishes that work well on paint with great results.

for the water spots, I used chrome polish like Eagle One's Never Dull, and I get rids of the water spots, but when remove I would notice that the part i polish is a lot more smoother then the un polish section and end up doing the whole window
