I've noticed some pronounced "marks/rings" on the inside of the windshield. Going back to when I purchased the car I do remember it had a banner on the inside (dealer banner).

Basically my question is as follows, what will make these "marks/rings" go away, what do you gurus recommend and what to stay away from?

You can try a singe edged razor blade. Run it along the outside of the window low and out of the way a couple of times to make sure there are no burrs on the edge. Then use it inside on your problem. Then move to #0000 extra fine steel wool. Whatever goo/residue you had should be gone. You can use your favorite glass cleaner to act as a lubricant. I use invisible glass. Also watch out if these are tinted windows (factory or otherwise).
