Ultimate detailing machine?
Ultimate detailing machine?
Hi I recently posted about removing swirls and someone told me the best way was to get a polisher called the Ultimate detailing machine. I am wondering who is the manufacturer of this product? Also where is the best/cheapest place to get one? Would I be able to get at an auto parts store or would I have to buy it online?
Also I did a quick search and saw a few listed on one of the vendors on this site but there was several products listed under Ultimate Detailing Machien and they all seemed to come with different types of pads or polishers...so which one should I get that's best for a NBP TL?

It looks pretty similiar to the Porter Cable that just about everybody uses. I'd say get yourself a PC and some good pads and polishes and learn how to use it. For the most part it's a very forgiving machine. Good luck!

From everything I've read here the UDM is better. It is highly regarded on this site.
The PC seems well liked and widely used, but as I recall the UDM came out last year and was designed to improve on weaknesess/defiecincies int eh PC unit.
It shouldn't be hard to use the site SEARCH feature to turn up a number of threads on the UDM and PC and form your own opinion.
