Use invisible glass with newspaper. If you smoke it's worse cause the nicotine leaves a film. The first time you get it REALLY clean...you'll have to give it probably 3 or 4 good strong passes. Then just maintain that.

tint has its own special needs and bad ways to do it!
call a tint shop- may be soft towel and water only-

front gets dash outgassing on it- use wadded up newspaper and rubbing alcohol or whatever brand glass cleaner to get it- may take two cleanings

outside glass- rubbing alcohol on newpaper
helps to use `Claybar` to remove road grit buried in the pits of the front glass
then wax with carnuba

Dont use ammonia based products on tint, Invisible Glass is by far the best product out there.

Common misnomer about newspapers. I mean all our grandparents use to use it right? Newpaper of the old days used print dyes which had kerosene in it. Kerosene is not only a fuel, but a solvent. The actual Kerosene in the dye use to help break up oils on your glass, thus cleaning better. Newsprints of todays are all soy based inks, and offer NO additional cleaning action. What cleaning action you are getting with "newspaper", is purely from recycled paper.
To be truthful, I dont recommend using newspaper, as the dyes will stain interior trims and fabrics if used without caution. Also any ammonia cleaners in your glass cleaner will break the dyes apart, and cause smearing.....
So, with all that said, be careful when using newspaper to clean your glass!
I still use paper towels and ZEP, or Sprayway glass cleaner. Then follow up with an edgeless (non linting) mf.

I bow to your greater knowledge. I've found that newspapers, if used liberally do not streak and dry immediately. At least for mr.

Forgot to mention that about the ammonia based which are not safe for tint.

Yup, I have a can of invisible glass too. Just make sure you use a microfiber rag. Don't spray it inside the car unless it's very well ventilated around you because it smells a lot.

ONR at regular wash dilution. Short napped microfiber soaked and rung out, another short napped microfiber/waffle weave to make last drying passes. Streak free every time.

Really just a damp m/f will work without a solvent. Maybe spot-cleaning where necessary with a solvent for greasy hand prints, etc., but not everywhere. Dirt and dust will easily wipe away without it, and just get trapped safely in the m/f.

Cleaning Interior Glass

Start with the driver's door and front passenger's door. If your door has a window frame, lower the window approximately 1 inch to allow access to the top part of the glass, this part should be cleaned and dried first. Now roll the window up, and clean the remainder of the window. Pay attention to the corners of the windows, as this is where most of the dirt will collect and you will get most smears and streaks.

Don't forget your driver's side and passenger's side mirrors. While you're sitting down in the passenger's seat, clean the inside of the windshield. It is easier to clean from the passenger's side, as your access is not obstructed by the steering wheel. Use care when cleaning the rear-view mirror, as it is only glued to your windshield. If you bump into the rear-view mirror hard enough or at the right angle, you can break its adhesive seal from the glass.

Wipe glass with a damp waffle weave towel; apply Stoners Invisible Glass ™, then use a micro fibre glass cleaning (very low nap) towel and rub glass surface with a light to medium pressure (it will dry streak-free / lint-free) Be sure to roll down your windows about half way so you can clean the top edges of the glass.

Alternative – The Glass Master Pro is a 14 inch wand with a triangular cleaning head, which allows you to clean near and far without uncomfortable stretching or straining. The wedge-shaped head fits perfectly into the corners of the windshield or back window so you reach every speck of dust, the perfect tool for a sloping back window. The tool includes 2 triangular sponge faced paddles, that snap on and off with ease.

These paddles make wet and dry cleaning possible during the same session without requiring any extra preparation. The durable, elastic trimmed bonnets come in three varieties: micro-fibre, nylon meshes and cotton terry. All of the bonnets are reusable, reversible and washable.

Apply Stoners Invisible Glass ™ to the micro fibre glass cleaning (very low nap) towel and rub glass surface with a light to medium pressure (it will dry streak-free / lint-free) Be sure to roll down your windows about half way so you can clean the top edges of the glass.

Windshield Haze or ‘Fog’

The vinyl used on vehicle dashboards contain DEHP (diethylhexyl phthalate) plasticizers, these low molecular weight compounds maintain semi-rigid vinyl’s flexibility. The vinyl used in modern vehicle interiors vent (out-gassing) these are the plasticizers evaporating (more prevalent on newer vehicles or a dash with freshly applied vinyl dressing) Crack open vehicle windows when parked to allow the gasses to vent.

UV and heat radiation will also cause the plasticizers to dry out, resulting in a chemical film that when combined with road oils, dirt and grease introduced via by the vehicles a/c system or smoker's residue, which results in a stubborn haze or fog that forms a cohesive bond with the interior glass surfaces.

Clean glass with Isopropyl alcohol and a micro fibre towel, with a fine mist bottle, spray the glass, not towel and with medium pressure agitate the area. You may need to repeat this process
