Wind rim scratch and grime removal

All,

I just purchased a 2002 TL Type S last week and washed and waxed it with Zymöl. The previous owner had a terrible sunroof wind guard which I promptly removed, only to find some embedded grime and grease in a light scratch (through top coat and perhaps enamel but not past enamel). I thought the soap and wax would help but it is still there (see attached pictures).

Please advise on how to make this the best it can be, using specific product brands and types if possible.

Thanks,
H

if you are sticking to over the counter/ hand applications pick up some ScratchX by Megs. Its a polish and might get you headed in the right direction. A few applications might be necessary.
